Sufra (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a household meal-planning app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because we collect very little.
Sufra is designed for a household: one person who plans meals (the “planner”) and a cook who views the day’s menu on a kitchen tablet. This policy applies to everyone who uses the app.
We only collect what the app needs to work. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking of any kind, and we never sell your data.
We do not collect your location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, browsing history, or usage analytics.
We use the information only to provide the app’s features — to sign you in, save your dishes and meal plans, scale recipes to your headcount, show the day’s menu on the cook’s display, and build your shopping list. We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or analytics.
We do not sell or rent your data. We share information only with the service providers that make the app work:
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Sign-in uses a one-time code, the cook’s display is connected with a short, time-limited pairing code, and your content is stored in a database with per-household access rules so one household cannot see another’s data. Photos are served through short-lived private links.
We keep your information for as long as you use the app. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app (More → Delete account). You can also request deletion by emailing us at the address below, and we will remove it.
Sufra is intended for adults managing a household. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and publish the new version at this address.
